EADG is the first and longest consecutive landscape design company to enter the Chinese mainland from its base in Hong Kong. Our emphasis is on landscape design coupled with a multi-disciplinary planning approach. At EADG we work closely with each client to find the best responsible sustainable design solutions which will meet the challenges of rapid urbanization in Asia.
EADG provides an international design approach to each project thus positioning the practice at the forefront of Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Planning in China and abroad. With three primary offices throughout Hong Kong and China, our Asian group is led by Patrick Lau, Chairman of Asian Habitat Society, and Andross Chan, former president of the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects and Registered Landscape Architect in Britain and Canada.
The practice‘s experience ranges across a wide variety of projects and includes tourism facilities, parks, residential and commercial developments, public works projects, and urban design. EADG has been responsible for numerous successful projects ranging from prestigious residential projects, which include Parkview in Hong Kong, to large complex high profile projects, such as the Penny‘s Bay Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. Current representative projects include the Beijing Olympic Athletes Village, Olympic Aquatic Park, Macau City of Dreams, and the Greening Masterplan for Mongkok and Yau Mau Tei.
